Marianne Sammann took over as Lufthansa’s general manager for the UK and Ireland last February. She has been with Lufthansa for more than 27 years and was previously the airline’s head of global corporate business based in Frankfurt.
Lufthansa offers over 450 flights each week from seven airports in the UK and Ireland and last year announced new record passenger figures at all its UK and Ireland airports.
Marianne is married with three grown-up children. Her outside interests include travel, theatre, a wide range of music and outdoor activities.
