Kevin May joined Travolution as editor in December 2005. Since then he has overseen all editorial development of the Travolution brand, including the quarterly magazine, website, blog, podcasts, awards and conference programme.
 
The magazine was shortlisted for Magazine of Year at the PPA Awards 2007 and the Travolution Generations issue was shortlisted for Research Project of the Year at AOP Awards 2008.Prior to joining Travolution, Kevin was web editor at Media Week and also in the regional press, as deputy editor and political columnist for the Essex Enquirer. He was a freelance writer for six months in 2000/01 during a nine-month trip around Asia.
 
He started his career in journalism in 1993 as a sub-editor and reporter for the Police Gazette newspaper, based at New Scotland Yard in London, before leaving to complete a degree in criminology in 1997.
 
Kevin has chaired five Travolution conferences, numerous other seminars and speaks regularly at travel and digital marketing events, including the ABTA Conventions in 2006, 2007 and 2008, PhoCusWright@ITB in 2007 and 2008, and the flagship PhoCusWright conferences in the US in 2007 and 2008.
 
He lives in Hertfordshire, England, with his wife and two children.
