Kathryn Beadle started her career in travel as a trainee travel consultant with Hogg Robinson Leisure. She spent 18 years with the company rising through the ranks to become their youngest and only female regional sales manager before being appointed sales director.
Wanting a change in direction she moved across to head up Marketing and Commercial for the company where she introduced standardised shop window displays and brochure racking along with launching a customer relations department. After leaving Hogg Robinson Kathryn joined Virgin Holidays in 1995 as sales & marketing director. During her time at Virgin she was instrumental in the substantial growth of the company through all distribution channels. A keen advocate of “green issues” she introduced an environmental policy and responsible tourism initiative that encompassed all of the company both in the UK and overseas.
Kathryn was given an award by the City of New York in 2003 for her support of the city through promotional activity following the events of 9/11. Kathryn joined Argo and Jetlife Holidays in 2006 as sales & marketing director before joining Hurtigruten in 2008 as head of commercial. Kathryn has recently been promoted to sales & marketing director and has also been given responsibility for the US, Australia, Middle East and Asia.
