Liz Savage joined Monarch in February 2007, after previously holding the position of director of business development at easyJet. Having joined the start-up team, she held a variety of senior management roles prior to becoming a member of easyJet's board in 2003.
Liz led the planning for easyJet's acquisition of Go, the set up of subsidiary easyJet Switzerland, and the transition of Deutsche BA from British Airways' subsidiary to low cost airline.
Prior to easyJet, Liz worked at Manchester Airport in the operations team. She studied Aeronautical Engineering at Bristol University, holds a Masters in Air Transport from Cranfield University and has studied at Harvard Business School.
